Runaway Pig Takes A Ride Home In A Police Car
If you've ever had a dog, you probably know about the stress that occurs when they get loose and start running the streets. Not every dog does it, but when they do, it can really lead to a lot of worrying.
Undoubtedly, the family of a pig named Elvis Presley felt the same way when their beloved pet escaped. He was at home in Fairview, Alaska, when he went out for a walkabout.
The weather was not very fair that day, and Elvis Presley had a difficult time getting around. After the Anchorage Police Department received the call about the escaped pig, they saw one looking cold and spotted him along an Alaska road.
After they received the call, they were able to bring him back to his family again. They put him in the back of a police car and gave him a ride home in style.
Of course, the Anchorage Police Department could not resist the opportunity to post the news on Facebook. They talked about how the pig got loose and how he was captured and brought home again.
They wrote: "Just shy of a year ago we responded to a call about a turkey trying to enter a convenience store. We showed up and found an actual Gobble Gobble attempting to finagle his way into the mart at a local gas station. After that adventure, you'd think not much would surprise us. And then yesterday it happened…"
Apparently, a concerned citizen had called about the runaway pig when they saw him along the side of the road. They said he looked cold, but when the police got there, he turned out to be very friendly.
I guess all's well that ends well, and we're just happy that Elvis has not left the building permanently.
I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
