Tiny Dachshund Blocks His Owner's Path In An Attempt To Get Belly Rubs

A miniature dachshund in Texas is winning hearts around the world with his adorable looks and personality to match.

Scotchy, aka Scotchy the Doxie, may be just 4 months old, but he's already amassed quite a fan following on TikTok where his owners share adorable videos of her and her antics, @scotchythedoxie.

One video recently went viral that shows Scotchy not just asking his owners for attention, but demanding it!

It's no secret that dogs seem to love belly rubs. Some dogs, especially puppies, will roll onto their backs to accept the rubs and Scotchy is one of them.

In the video, Scotchy can be seen laying belly-up in the hallway as if waiting to be petted. Much to his dismay, his owner doesn't stop to pet him but continues walking right past.

Scotchy wasn't about to sit by and let that happen. No way! Instead, the tiny pup hopped up and ran directly in front of his owner's feet to block her path and plopped down to ask for some belly rubs.

This time, Scotchy's owner agreed and bent down to rub her adorable little tummy. It'd be hard to resist with how cute he is. Plus, you have to admire his determination.
