Martin the cat survived repeated bombings on his village thanks to his devoted owner who made sure that all of her felines were safe.

The woman stayed behind to care for six cats and refused to leave without them. Sadly, she was killed in one of the bombings. 

Rescuers combing the area for survivors rescued her cats, including Martin who sustained an injury from the bomb that killed his mom. 

His eye was too damaged to save and was safely removed by medical staff at Patron Pet Center. 

He began his long journey to heal both physically and emotionally. Thanks to your donations and the dedicated staff at Patron Pet Center, Martin made a full recovery.
