Kaya was found chained outside in a heavily bombed area when rescuers arrived. She was barking with excitement as they approached and didn't hesitate to leave the dangerous area.

She was brought to Parton Pet Center where she regained her strength with nutritious food, received all the necessary vaccinations, and eventually won the heart of a Ukrainian couple who are now living in Germany.

Kaya is finally safe and is loving her new life with her new family. She has left the painful past behind her. She spends her days running in her backyard and going on adventures with her family.

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort.
