A Wobbly Stray Dog Finds A Place To Call Home
We really feel for the dogs that live on the streets. Some of them may do quite fine, and they are cared for by the kindness of strangers, but others have additional struggles they need to deal with.
Such was the case with Matilda, a dog that suffered from cerebral hyperplasia. She was a little bulldog found wandering the streets and needed some help.
Matilda is a tiny bulldog mix, and her condition, which affected the cerebrum, caused problems with her coordination. That part of the brain wasn't fully developed, so she would wobble when she walked.
After Matilda was discovered, she was rescued by Lee Asher of The Asher House. The Asher House shared on YouTube that she was discovered through the Tacoma Humane Society, and Lee knew right away that Matilda was a special dog.
He said in the video: "It feels so good to feel this way about an animal that no one ever wanted. It must feel so good for her. She feels, she loves love so much."
After bringing Matilda into his home, he couldn't believe that he had such a wonderful dog under his care. He had always felt like an outcast himself, so having an outcast dog wobble into his life made him feel whole.
Of course, as you watch the video, you will see that Matilda benefited from the exchange just as much as Lee did. Such is the case when we adopt and rescue our forever friends.

I love to write and it keeps me busy. I've been working online, full time since 1999. When you can't find me at the keyboard, you'll find me getting as much as I can out of life. I enjoy living simply, playing games, visiting the beach, and spending time with my family.
