Woman Rescues Feisty Kitten Hiding Under A Trash Can

Cass Perchoux is no stranger to rescuing animals who have a bit of an attitude, but one tiny kitten may just have the most sass of all.

Cass spotted the tiny kitten hiding under a trash can and knew she had to take it home. The only problem? The fesity kitten wanted nothing to do with humans!

In an interview with The Dodo, Cass said: "I don't even think he had seen a human before, let alone been touched by one."

Despite the kitten clearly not wanting to be bothered, Cass risked her hands and picked the little guy up. She was bitten and scratched, but it didn't matter because the tiny kitten was finally safe.

Once Cass was settled back at home with the kitten, she began working on feeding him. He was so feisty and spicy that he didn't want to eat, but she eventually won him over.

Cass named the little kitten Church and began to form a sweet bond with him, but she knew she couldn't keep the kitten forever.

After sharing that Church was up for adoption, Cass revealed to The Dodo that "hundreds and hundreds of people" ended up wanting to adopt the kitten but one girl, in particular, was especially persistent.

Cass ended up adopting Church out to the girl and it was a match made in heaven!
