Grants funded by The Autism Site are paid by to charities and non-profit organizations working to create a better understanding of autism by providing educational opportunities and therapy to children and their families as well as autism research. Autism Speaks

Autism Speaks, the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, seeks to improve the future for all who struggle with an autism spectrum disorder. The organization works to bring the results of their research outside the laboratory, so that advances in autism research can be translated into real-world solutions for families. This includes sharing findings with other researchers and clinicians, to ensure that evidence-based treatments are widely available both within the United States and internationally. Autism Speaks also works to increase awareness about autism spectrum disorders and to advocate for the needs of people and families living with autism.

National Autism Association

The National Autism Association's Helping Hand Program provides speech and behavior therapy for children with an autism spectrum disorder. The Helping Hand Program provides financial aid directly to families so that speech therapy and behavioral therapy can be fully utilized and affordable, no matter what the family's financial circumstances are.
