If you need to master any art form, I believe that you should be creative and willing to learn. I was born in Jaipur in 1999 into a family of jewelers. India's 'Pink City,' Jaipur is renowned for its gemstones and I wanted to be a part of our family art. My teacher has been my mother, who taught me everything that I know today.
"I love working with gemstones because of their variety of colors, and they can be cut and faceted in so many ways. Silver can be shaped to complement and enhance the stones. My favorite part of jewelry crafting is to let my creative imagination flow, but it can be challenging to make the designs a reality.
"For my future plans, I hope to set up my own workshop and provide work for as many people as I can. I want to help keep India's arts and crafts alive by promoting them to shoppers around the world."
