We need your support to fly dozens of at-risk shelter pets to freedom.
Animal shelters in Louisiana and Alabama are overflowing with homeless dogs and cats as new ones arrive weekly. Highly adoptable animals are at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space and adopters.
That's why we sponsor a flight each month, with your support, to save lives. Help us fly over 50 shelter dogs and cats to freedom on our next flight on March 17.
Help change the luck of shelter pets by flying them to freedom!
The animals on this flight are at-risk pets - including heartworm-positive dogs; without the flight, they might never find their loving homes due to the overcrowding that often happens in shelters. Sending these pets from under-resourced shelters to shelters with empty spaces will give them a second chance at life AND the adoption they deserve.
Donate now to save lives!

Save a Heart is a life-saving initiative of Greater Good Charities that aims to reduce shelter euthanasia in overcrowded shelters by preventing and treating heartworm disease in shelter dogs, while transporting adoptable asymptomatic heartworm-positive dogs to safety.
Together with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health, The Animal Rescue Site, Save a Heart transports hundreds of asymptomatic heartworm-positive dogs to new homes each year.
Meet some of the pet passengers on this month's flight below!

Meet Marble!
Marble has beautifully balanced energy. Not over the top, not a couch potato - just steady and grounded. He feels like an old soul in a handsome dog's body. The kind of companion who listens, watches, and chooses peace every single time.
The three-year-old Aussie mix is ready to find someone to love.
Be his lucky charm and help fly him to freedom!

Meet LB!
LB is a 13-year-old rat terrier mix with a loving heart and a gentle spirit. He came to a local clinic after his owner passed away, and despite the change in his life, he continues to greet people with warmth and affection.

Meet Molly!
Molly is ready for a fresh start.
She greets visitors with a calm, welcoming approach and has been doing very well with kennel training. She is social with other dogs and adjusts easily to new routines and environments.
She is heartworm positive and will receive treatment before being adopted.
Help fly them all to freedom!
Every month we fly a group of deserving pets. Help us fund the next Flight to Freedom now! Just $10, helps cover the fuel costs of flying a pet 250 miles towards safety.
In shelters across the country, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized just because the shelters are overcrowded. In other areas, shelters have a shortage of adoptable pets. We're transporting these pets to shelters where they're immediately adopted.
This month's Good Flight will transport at-risk dogs and cats to safety!
*Due to many factors including pets being adopted prior to a flight, receiving shelter capacity, and pet health, the final number of pets on a flight may be different from totals quoted above.
