Rescuers saved over 20 neglected cats from a cruel hoarding situation before it was too late 

After a tip from a concerned neighbor about the amount of cats roaming their neighbor's home, a Muncie Animal Care and Services contacted property management to coordinate the animals' rescue. The property manager discovered that the tenants had abandoned over 20 cats, leaving them in squalor without food or water.

Several cats are suffering from eye infections due to their living conditions, and may need to have their eyes removed. None were spayed, neutered, or up to date on necessary vaccinations. So far, the cats have refused to eat cat food as they've likely grown used to eating table scraps and garbage.

Their previous owner has been charged with neglect and no longer has access to these poor babies.
