The Pantanal, a Brazilian region home to the largest tropical wetland in the world, recently suffered from severe wildfires. Millions of acres of land were destroyed, causing massive devastation that has threatened the diverse wildlife inhabiting the area.
Even jaguars, some of the fastest and most agile animals in the region, were injured or did not make it out. Those who survived like Itapira, have wounds that require immediate medical treatment.
Itapira had burns on all four paws and was too weak to survive on her own. A medical team monitored her closely, but after waiting a day without any sign of improvement, the decision was made to sedate her and perform a rescue.
We're partnering with Greater Good Charities, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, to work with organizations on the ground who are providing lifesaving medical care to injured jaguars. This holiday season, help Itapira and other burned wildlife heal.

The fires were horrific. Glad I could help some of these incredible animals.
