Pecan is a deaf and partially blind special needs puppy who has spent most of his life in a shelter. He recently developed an upper respiratory infection that was too strong for him to handle on his own. Despite all efforts, his condition kept declining.
Pecan was transferred to the emergency hospital, gasping for air. He was put on oxygen to stabilize while doctors ran further tests. His x-rays showed the narrowing of his airways, and the tests showed poor Pecan was positive for pneumonia.
Pecan is currently out of immediate danger, but he still needs your help to recover. He will spend some time in an oxygen chamber to help him breathe, along with following a balanced diet. Pecan is the sweetest boy, full of puppy love and kisses. Once he’s recovered, he's sure to find his forever home and get the happy ending he deserves!
Give Pecan hope as he recovers from pneumonia!
You can help sweet Pecan begin his treatment. Your support will not only give him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover the ongoing care he will need.
Help us meet our goal of $5,000 to help Pecan and pets like him get treatment.
