Send Aid to People and Pets in Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa Leaves Path of Destruction
Hurricane Melissa, a rare Category 5 hurricane, made landfall in New Hope, Jamaica as one of the strongest hurricanes in history.
UPDATE: Greater Good Charities is deploying an emergency aid flight from Florida to Jamaica on Tuesday, November 4, filled with emergency packs, hygiene essentials, and critical pet supplies. Right now, a generous donor is matching all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.
Countless people and pets have been displaced after the catastrophic storm tore across Jamaica destroying everything in her path.
Displaced families are struggling to find pet food and a place to go with their beloved pets. People have lost everything, and they refuse to leave their pets behind.
Our partner Greater Good Charities is already on the ground in Jamaica distributing much-needed pet food and humanitarian supplies, with additional aid being flown in from Florida this week. But they can’t do it without you.
