Dog Freezes Like A Statue When Feline Intruder Comes Around
Does life imitate art or does art imitate life? That was a question Oscar Wilde gave us to ponder, and it would seem that for the most part - at least this is my life experience - art imitates life.
But every once in a while, you'll see life imitate art, such as this very serious doggo who looks like a statue.
A video is making the rounds on the internet that shows a dog's rather unusual method of alerting his owner to potential danger around their home: He turns into a statue!
That is correct, the silly pooch just goes still and rigid, "pointing" ahead with his snout in the direction of whatever has caught his attention. In doing so, he looks more like a realistic statue rather than a living dog. It's quite funny, and has many people reacting to the video.
The clip was shared by @vanja_patlach, who is filming her dog from multiple angles as he stands on the roof of a nearby shed, observing something close by. The camera then points to his canon companion on the ground, a light brown and white pooch sitting there also quietly staring at whatever has got the big dog's attention.
@vanja_patlach is snickering behind the camera, already aware of what has probably triggered such a reaction out of her pooch. The cute reveal comes seconds later when the camera focuses in on a little feline sitting on a stairwell close to the house. It's staring down at both dogs, clearly caught in the middle of something.
The hilarious footage has got viewers everywhere reacting to the dog's reaction, with one person writing, "On alert for a kitty; a dangerous enemy; lol."
