Injured Dog Barely Able to Move Rescued from Frontlines
Meet Mishka.
This Ukrainian dog was endured unimaginable pain and suffering. He was left to fend for himself near the frontlines. During one of the many air raids on his village, he was severely injured.
Mishka's hind leg was broken, and he was unable to move without excruciating pain.
Luckily, Animal Rescue Kharkiv (ARK) came to his rescue.
The sweet dog has a broken fibula and tibia and will need emergency surgery to repair the fractures. Plates will be put in his leg to stabilize the bones as they heal.
His prognosis looks good with the surgery which will allow him to walk and run again without pain.
ARK reached out to Greater Good Charities' Emergency Animal Medical fund to help cover his medical bills. He has a long road to recovery and needs our support.
The fund was created to help save dogs like Mishka and give them the second chance they deserve. We cannot do it without your continued support.
Help us meet our goal of $4,000 for Mishka and pets like him.
