Family Catches Sweet Kitten Sneaking Into Baby Crib For Snuggles
When my niece was born, the family cat was far from thrilled. At first, he was a little bit curious, but after the curiosity wore off, he paid little mind to the tiny, crying human.
As she grew older, the cat became more interested in her, but anytime she'd reach out to pet him, he'd swat her hand or pull out the claws. He wasn't the friendliest, to say the least, but that's often expected with cats when they're around babies.
When Kelly De Alba welcomed home her infant daughter, Kallie, however, she was pleasantly surprised to learn that only did the family cat, Luna, like the baby but he was so gentle and loving toward her!
In fact, Kelly even caught Luna sneaking into Kallie's bed at night to squeeze in some snuggle time.
In an interview with The Dodo, Kelly said, "I got a notification so I opened [the camera] and I just saw Luna rubbing all over [Kallie]."
She went on to say, "Luna was just cuddled up next to her, like, 'Mom, don't get come get me.'"
As it turns out, it's not just at night that Luna cuddles up with Kallie. She's by her side any time of day, and she's incredibly gentle.
When Kallie inevitably grabs a handful of Luna's fur, instead of swatting or scratching like most cats would do, Luna simply takes it! It's truly incredible to see the bond they have.
