On June 3, 2026, around sunset, I stopped on the roadside after spotting a tiny kitten near the edge of the road, between empty fields where trucks and cars pass very fast. He was so small I could have easily missed him. He looked hungry and completely alone, like a fragile little ball of fur.

I had no choice but to stop and take him with me.

Teddy was found alone near a dangerous roadside.

I brought him to the house I rent for my cats, where all my rescued cats stay, along with my dog, Sarah. After feeding everyone, I cleaned the kitten, treated him for parasites, and placed him safely with the other kittens.

A hand holds a tiny orange-and-white kitten up against a softly blurred evening sky near the roadside.

The kitten was tiny enough to be easily missed.

I now have 16 kittens in addition to all my cats and dogs, around 70 animals in total. The situation is becoming extremely difficult to manage, both emotionally and practically, with urgent ongoing needs for food, medical care, and upcoming sterilizations.

Fast-moving trucks and cars passed near where Teddy was found.

I named him Teddy because he was just a tiny ball of fur when I found him by the roadside.

Teddy is safe today, but many more animals still depend on your support every single day.

Teddy was taken to a rented house used to shelter rescued animals.

Every rescue changes a life.

James and his blind brother, William, were found abandoned on the street when they were just four weeks old. James was born with one blind eye that started to cause him discomfort. Over time, that eye became increasingly painful and irritated. James is the seeing-eye cat for his brother, making his condition even more urgent to treat.
