High School Students Show Up To Celebrate Teacher Who Beat Cancer
Cancer is something that affects too many people. In 2023 alone, cancer took the lives of over 600,000 people in the United States.
When someone triumphs over cancer, it's a huge deal! People often go through so much to beat cancer, both physically and financially.
When a teacher and coach at the Bay City Western High School in Michigan finished chemotherapy and beat colon cancer, he had a huge group of students show up to support and celebrate with him!
TikTok user @morganharrison112 shared a video of Brendan Harrison walking from the treatment center and he's greeted with a cheering crowd of students!
It's really something special to witness. Brendan fights back tears when he sees his students lining the parking lot.
He triumphantly rings the "cancer free" bell to the cheers of onlookers.
The video was captioned, "Walkin out of chemo like…."
