Gorgeous Tortoiseshell Cat Searching for Her Soulmate

SACatRescue

Meet Emmy, a super sweet feline who is now luxuriating in being an indoor kitty without a care in the world. The only problem is that her current accommodations are in a foster situation and she needs a forever home. While they have nothing but nice things to say about darling Emmy, they can't keep her forever.

Rescue Cats

This petite young lady is 1.5 years old and is permanently finished with her mama duties and ready to be spoiled forever! Emmy is super sweet once she is trusting of you. She likes to be held, rubbed, get back scratches, and neck rubs. She is very loyal and has soulful eyes that speak directly to you. She also enjoys a good treat and meal, but what kitty doesn't?!

Adopting Shelter Pets

When Emmy is tuckered out, you can often find her sleeping just about anywhere, anytime, and in just about any position. It's just too darn cute! And so is her distinctive tortoiseshell coat that makes her look like a little wild cat on the prowl.

Tortie Cats

What she needs now is a home of her own to sploot or curl up in and receive all the scritchies, treats, and love you can shower her with. Tortoiseshell cats can very much be attention seekers, so she might be perfect for anyone looking for a Velcro kitty. To date, Emmy has done well around others once in a routine. She can adapt to many lifestyles with slow, proper introductions, patience, and a safe smaller space to start her adaption to a new environment.

Pick Me!

Emmy is spayed, current on her vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is also house-trained and has no special needs. If you could give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves, or you know of someone who might want to, please fill out an adoption application on the Southern Arizona Cat Rescue website.

If you have questions or concerns, you can reach out and contact them at (520) 200-1643 or by emailing adoption@sacatrescue.org. Please share Emmy's story to help improve her chances of adoption.
