Our Rivers Need More Help Than We Realize

Rivers aren't just large ditches full of water, weeds, mosquito larvae, and fish. They're critical habitat, ecosystems that are heavily damaged by runoff and sediment. We must think wider to protect and support them! Healthy rivers have natural buffers, with native trees and plants that protect the water and support a diversity of creatures!

Too many rivers have been stripped of this protection. This hurts species that are endangered or in decline.
