One of the biggest expenses for shelters and rescue groups is feeding animals in their care. For many rescues, after food costs, little to nothing remains in the budget for medical treatment, vaccines, adoption programs, and pets that require more extensive care like Reba and Keller.

Meet Reba
Reba was surrendered in the middle of a health emergency by her old family. She was suffering from chronic digestive issues and Parvo and was massively underweight. Reba underwent a blood transfusion and intensive care before regaining her health.
With Reba needing so much high-quality nutrition during her stay, her rescue would have struggled to purchase the food on their own. The GOODS program made it possible for them to care for Reba's needs as well as other pets at their shelter!
Meet Keller
Keller was rescued at just 4 weeks old, extremely malnourished, struggling to eat or breathe on his own, and with eyes sealed shut.
He was put on oxygen, tube fed, and received surgery to remove his eyes. It was a long road to recovery that was aided by nourishing food. After two years of treatment, Keller has grown from a sickly stray kitten to a healthy cat in a loving home!
While Keller & Reba received treatment for their various medical issues, they were able to return to healthy weights thanks to the high-quality, healthy food donated to their shelter. That’s where Greater Good Charities’ GOODS Program comes in! They ship donated food to rescue groups around the country to make sure their animals are fed, and that they have extra money in the budget to help pets in desperate need.
Now, both Reba and Keller are happy and healthy. Good medical care, GOODS food, and love was all these pets needed.
Rescue pets like Reba and Keller all over the country need your help. Help celebrate National Feed a Rescue Pet Week by making a tax-deductible gift. Together, we can provide 3 million meals for shelter pets!

I love animals and donate to help care for them.
Wish I could more on a regular basis but I am on limited funds and can only help on occasion. Always like to help all animals in need.
I ALWAYS donate to this cause. Where else but through Greater Good can so little money do so much for so many? Just $5 provides 100 bowls of food for shelter pets in need. Shelters nationwide are struggling. Food is their greatest expense. Please open your hearts and consider donating! It takes a village. Let’s do this! Let’s save lives.
