Winky was rescued from a cat colony at four weeks old in desperate need of medical attention. She was suffering from a severe upper respiratory infection, as well as dehydration and malnutrition, and her eye was infected beyond saving.
Little Winky is currently receiving care to stabilize her health, and once she's strong enough, she needs eye enucleation surgery. Shelter staff will monitor her recovery and ensure she's fully vaccinated, dewormed and spayed before sending her off into a loving, forever home. Winky needs your help to start her journey towards healing and growth!
Help remove Winky's infected eye!
You can help sweet Winky begin her treatment. Your support will not only give her the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover the ongoing care she will need.
Help us meet our goal of $1,500 to help Winky heal and recover. Funds raised over the goal amount will go to supporting Greater Good Charities' life-saving programs.

All of my pets have been rescues and ALL have been wonderful companions. It is so nice to help other pets in their time of need and they’ll hopefully find furever homes as my pets have.
if that picture under the rating is Winky... that was the best thing I've seen in months.
My donations were given during the Greater Good / Animal Rescue Site Paws In Peril Care-A-Thon Week. Winky was one of the recipients along with Domino and the crates of kittens found abandoned in Texas. My monetary gifts were meager but I was gratified to see that all of the cats in need to which I gave have been fully FUNDED!, proving that even even smaller donations, along with the generosity of many others can and do make a great difference in the lives of animals who need our help. Every donation truly does help.
