Tag states 100% cotton but it feels like a coarse, very thin canvas. Somewhat see-through (especially with light behind it) and poorly made...photos show some loose threads -- there are many more than a few -- but the worst surprise is that there are no actual sleeves. It looks to have been a rectangular piece of material with the two top ends simply tacked down at a single connection point on both sides to appear sleeve-like but instead looks very cheaply made at certain arm angles, as well as the wonky long sides and short backside due to the pulled-forward faux sleeves, none of which you really see in the online ad photos. May make for a very lightweight beach or pool throw-on but only if you don't care about it getting ruined by the sun (my guess is the color will fade), sea, and sand. Such a disappointment.

This kimono is not worth a penny let alone 39.95. I will be returning it. Very disappointing.
