Paws in Peril Care-A-Thon: Provide Emergency Care for Animals in Need
Cherry and her newborn kitten were found crying at an abandoned house and brought in for care. While the kitten nursed, Cherry showed clear signs of distress, and an examination revealed a uterine prolapse, a serious complication from giving birth.
Cherry was in significant pain and losing blood, leaving emergency surgery as her only option. Veterinarians repositioned her uterus and performed the surgical steps needed to repair her pelvic floor, prevent infection, and manage her pain.
Cherry faces about ten days of recovery, during which her kitten Blossom must be bottle-fed. Your support can help this mother and her baby get through it together.
Cherry suffered complications during birth and needed emergency surgery to survive.
You can help Cherry get the treatment she needs to heal. Your gift will not only give her the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover her ongoing care.
Greater Good Charities works to provide emergency medical care to pets in shelters around the world and meet other critical needs, including food, supplies, transportation, sterilization, and disaster relief. With your donation, you can help save the lives of animals like these by covering their care.
Help us meet our goal of $6,000 for Cherry and pets like her.
