3rd Annual Paws in Peril Care-A-Thon: Provide Emergency Care for Animals in Need
Cookie was brought to a local shelter after she was found with severe burns covering a significant portion of her body. Shelter staff rushed her to a veterinary hospital in hopes they could treat this sweet girl.
Doctors determined one of Cookie’s legs has suffered too much damage and will require amputation. Bits of a black tarry substance were found near her burns but it's unclear whether they’re related. She will also need surgery to close the wounds on her back and torso due to risk of infection.
With your help, Cookie can receive the surgeries she needs to heal and take the next step toward finding her forever home.
