Krystina and her rescue team were heartbroken when they found a German shepherd left to die in a cemetery near the frontlines.
The poor dog was emaciated, having body convulsions, and unable to stand or move. His eyes filled with pain and suffering.
He was carried to safety and then rushed to a clinic. He needs emergency care to treat his brain condition, provide anti-seizure medication, and months of nutritious food to regain his strength and health.
Despite all the pain and suffering he has endured, he remains a sweet dog who is so appreciative and affectionate.
