Fish and Chips were found abandoned near a gas station, anemic and suffering from fevers and swelling in their limbs. They were rushed to a veterinarian for immediate care.
Despite multiple visits to local vets, the cause of these puppies' symptoms remained a mystery. Finally, a specialist diagnosed them with a chronic but treatable illness that causes swelling throughout the body. Fish and Chips started treatment with medication, acupuncture and compression wraps.
Fish's and Chips' conditions have stabilized and they're responding well to treatment, but they need ongoing care to avoid further complications related to their illness.
