When officers investigated reports of neglect, they discovered horses struggling to survive in unsafe, unlivable conditions. Six were rescued from the scenes after law enforcement intervened and brought to safety for urgent care.
At the rescue, veterinarians determined several horses need corrective hoof care, one requires dental treatment after prolonged confinement, and another must undergo surgery for a testicular injury. In the meantime, all horses are on specialized diets to recover from varying levels of malnutrition.
These horses have begun to heal, but several still depend on ongoing treatment to fully recover. Your support can help provide the care and monitoring they need to regain their health and move toward safe, loving homes.
