This terrier mix is just one of over 300 pets who was rescued from a facility in LA County found to be in violation of animal welfare laws. The stench radiating from the building was horrible, and pets were likely living in overcrowded conditions and their own filth.
Upon arrival at the Lancaster Animal Shelter, it was clear he hadn't been cared for in a long time. He was covered in filth and had stains likely from his own urine. His nails were so long that they were painful to walk on. He had irritation in his paws and arthritis, a sign that he had limited mobility and wasn't able to exercise.
He urgently needs medical care to treat his paws and arthritis and regular grooming and food to ensure he can live the happy, healthy life he deserves.
