Krystina and her team rescued emaciated dogs kept outside on chains on dilapidated Ukraine property. The dogs (who we are calling Asher, Amos, and Arlo) are literally skin and bones from being starved for months. 

Asher was so weak it was difficult for him to stand on his own, so rescuers carried him to safety. The other dogs were finally freed from their heavy chains and all need emergency care to survive.

They have not had a nutritious meal in a long time, and their bodies are close to shutting down. It will take months of medical care and nutritious meals for them to heal. Since they have been starved for so long, food will need to slowly be reintroduced to their bodies.
