When a Louisiana woman heard a pup's cries from under her porch one night, she rushed to bring her some food. But when she saw the dog in the light, she dropped the bowl in shock and horror. 

Poor Colima's face and back had been brutally slashed. She was rushed to the emergency vet for immediate care, all the while feebly wagging her tail as though she knew the worst of her suffering was finally over.

Colima's wounds were cleaned and stitched up, and her journey to true healing began. Once she has regained her full health, she's scheduled to take a transport flight to Wisconsin, where she's sure to be quickly adopted. This loving girl can't wait for a long life free of pain and full of cuddles.

Another animal helped

Just $5 can make a difference, so what better way to help an animal who is injured, recover, and then have a chance at a loving, forever home than donating through Greater Good!!! I try to do it when I can and it is nice to see the updates later on that the injured animal has healed....YAY!!!!
