Berkshire Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, socially conscious, open-admission animal support organization. Our mission is to ensure the compassionate care, treatment and placement of companion animals, while promoting and improving the welfare of all animals through education and outreach. Compassionate and responsible care for all animals. Berkshire Humane Society offers several programs and services to help keep families together, including a Pet Food Bank, Wellness Clinic, Purradise (a feline adoption and boarding facility), SafePet (harbors animals for free when the pet parent is facing crisis), Family Dog School and Community Cat Program.
