Some of my bowls do not have covers and most of my other bowls are square and I wanted to get round ones. These looked like they would be perfect and the price was reasonable. I wasn't sure about not being able to use them in the microwave, but for the price, I decided to try them. They are perfect. The covers fit perfectly and are not loose and the design is nicer than in the picture. Also, the bowls nestle perfectly. We have used two of them already and am very pleased with my purchase.
