Otti was hit by a car and left lying helpless by the road, his back fractured in three places. Fortunately, a good Samaritan spotted the helpless pup and brought him to a nearby veterinary clinic.
Otti's road to recovery will be long and difficult. He needs spinal surgery to heal his fractures, and is currently getting by with pain management. After surgery, Otti will undergo months of extensive rehabilitation with limited movement to allow for proper healing. But finally, sweet Otti will be able to begin the next chapter of his life happier and healthier than before!
While Otti has begun the road to recovery, he needs your help to cover his ongoing medical care.
Otti needs surgery after being struck by a car!
You can help Otti get the surgery he needs to heal from his injuries. Your gift will not only give him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover his surgery and ongoing care.
Help us meet our goal of $6,000 for Otti and pets like him. Any funds raised over the goal amount will go to Greater Good Charities' lifesaving programs.

Donation sent for this sweet baby. I hope the entire funds go to saving this pup. And I agree that there should be updates...it's heartbreaking not knowing how they are doing.
Hoping for a great outcome and a wonderful family once he has recovered.
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your recent donation for Help Heal Otti’s Broken Spine. All pets featured in the Click for Paws that need emergency medical care have already received their life-saving surgeries and the grants are issued to the shelters performing the surgeries after the fact. If the Shelter provides us an update on the animal, it will be posted, but we are at the mercy of the shelter providing that information.
Sincerely,
GreaterGood Customer Service
I hope this isn’t a scam also. I’ve given for specific animals in need here and never see anything else about their recovery once I donate. This dog is in Romania but we’re in the United States with all these dogs here that need help? I will help this little one this time but this site needs far more accountability as to where the funds for these animals go and exactly how our donations helped.
I contribute frequently to these appeals. I just hope this isn't a scam. $6K in Romania sounds like a very high number.
